USER EXPERIENCE DESIGN + USER INTERFACE DESIGN
Why Learn UX + UI Design
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design are recognised by businesses and employers as playing an important, strategic role in the delivery of successful digital products. While both UX and UI design take on a human-centred approach, UX design employs research and prototyping to identify customer pain points and create solutions that meet users’ needs. UI design on the other hand, utilises aspects such as colour and typography to make a website or app visually appealing and delightful to use.

How It Works
At RMIT Online, we have a suite of courses to provide you with the skills to tackle the world of human-centred design which can be taken standalone or one after the other dependent on your desired outcomes. For students of this bundle, we recommend taking UX Design first, so that you can familarise yourself with the Double Diamond process and be introduced to the concepts of research, customer personas, and prototypes. Through UI Design, you’ll then learn how to use what you’ve learned in UX Design and apply elements such as typography and colour to create visually appealing, user-intuitive experiences.
