SkillsFuture is a national movement to provide Singaporeans with the opportunities to develop their fullest potential throughout life, regardless of their starting points.
Given the rapidly changing demands of the market today, the workplace must be a major site of learning, where every worker in Singapore is able to continue to develop themselves throughout the course of their careers and through life.
SIM Professional Development Enterprise Learning (SIM PDEL) offers a choice of executive programmes and Business Insights events that is supported by several funding schemes - making learning and staying relevant, easier than ever.
Funding is available for employer sponsored and self-sponsored registration. Eligible for up to 90%* funding with Terms & Conditions met, refer here.
Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) is a training benefit for NTUC members to defray their cost of training. NTUC members enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year when you sign up for courses supported under UTAP.
SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individuals to take ownership of their skills development and lifelong learning. All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. All eligible Singaporeans will be able to access their SkillsFuture Credit account via www.skillsfuture.sg/credit

Note that registration is subject to availability of seats and on first-come-first-serve basis.
The SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) training grant will not be claimable by participant/employer if he/she does not achieve 75% minimum attendance over the course duration or complete the assessment. SIM will then issue a new invoice with the full fee and cancel the first invoice.

You will need your course details (e.g. course start date, course ID, training provider) before you can submit a claim.
You can use your credit to pay for or offset the course fees of approved courses by applying through http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit.
This SkillsFuture Credit Portal has been made available since January 2016. You can also check your credit balance and transactions via http://www.skillsfuture.sg/credit.
Please note that with effect from 19 May 2017, the default payment mode for all courses, except for Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), is to pay the SkillsFuture Credit directly to Training Providers.
Under this payment mode, individuals are allowed to make claims up to 60 days before their start of the course till the day of course commencement with effect from 21 Apr 2017. This window period is sufficient for individuals to make their claims to facilitate earlier course registration.

With effect from 19 May 2017, the default payment mode for all courses is for individuals to pay the SkillsFuture Credit directly to Training Providers within 60 days of the course start date (date inclusive).
Upon activation of your SkillsFuture Credit account, you can apply to use your credit to pay directly to the training provider by the course start date (date inclusive).
Before logging into your account, you will need to have your SingPass ID, password, name of training provider, course title and course start date.
If this is the first time that you are applying to use your credit, you will be prompted to update your information, including your bank account details under "MyProfile" in the SkillsFuture Credit Portal.
You are required to submit supporting documents (detailing the course fee, government subsidy, receipt/net course fee payable (inclusive of GST) and applicants' name as per NRIC) at the point of claim submission at 'Submit a Claim' page (Proof of payment e.g. registration confirmation or acknowledgement slips, official receipts).
You may upload up to 10 documents with a maximum file size of 5MB per document. The supported file types are pdf, doc, xls, tif, jpg, png.
Please also ensure that you keep the relevant supporting documents for at least 6 months.
You can only cancel your claim submission before the course start date.
A Joining Instruction confirming your registration will be sent to you via email one (1) week before the commencement of the programme.
SIM Professional Development Enterprise Learning reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the programme due to unforeseen circumstances.
